I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a minor in English from Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, Alabama. Currently, I am attending the University of Southern California while studying for a master's degree in Secondary Science Education. My previous experience includes tutoring students of Tuskegee, Alabama, for approximately 15 hours each week. When I relocated to California, I began teaching Chemistry in Lawndale, California. During this time, I conducted regular tutoring sessions each day, both during the lunch hour and after school. My tutoring experience has been in a wide variety of science courses, such as Earth Science, Environmental Science, Genetics, Anatomy, Biology, and Chemistry. Being a science tutor is truly exciting, especially the discovery of how the world operates. My tutoring philosophy includes a complete understanding and application of newly acquired knowledge, not just memorization of materials. When I have extra time, I like to read, shop, and hike. I am eager to tutor new students in the areas of science.
